School of Design - Spatial Design

Spatial Design focuses on the design of architecture and landscape, and trains designers to be able to consider both humans and the environment.Paying particular attention to the sustainable civic and regional characteristics of the Hokkaido area, the course promotes architectural and landscape projects for snowy and cold areas, tourism planning and the like.



Research Interests

 
・ Study on Sustainable Landscapes in cities and regions, and agricultural tourism
・ Study on the simulation model of urban-land-use change and Downtown Revitalization
・ Study on Conservation and the reuse of historical buildings in hokkaido
・ Study on the ecology design of wetland, biotope in hokkaido
